Amanda James, Associate at Sullivan & Ward, P.C. has been selected to participate in the West Des Moines Leadership Institute (“WDMLI”) 2016-2017 Class.

The selection process is competitive for each of the 35-40 seats available each year.  Members of the program are a cross-section of professional, business, government, education, religious, civic and non-profit leaders.  Over the course of the program participants explore topics through expert speakers, panelists, tours and group presentations.

The Leadership Institute aims to enhance community leadership by providing a diverse group of emerging and existing leaders with the opportunity to increase their community knowledge, civic network and perpetuate their service to the community.

Ms. James practices in the firm’s Public Utility Group focusing regulatory and administrative proceedings.  She has experience representing rural electric cooperatives, alternative energy producers, independent power producers, transmission operators, investor owned utilities, and large power customers.
