Maci earned her Bachelor of Arts from Drake University in 2023 and her J.D. from Drake University Law School in 2026. During law school, she served as President of the Moot Court Board, where she planned and managed the C. Edwin Moore Moot Court Competition and First Year Oral Arguments. She also gained valuable hands-on experience as a student attorney in Drake Law’s Refugee Clinic, assisting clients throughout the asylum process.

Throughout law school, Maci was recognized for her leadership and service to the Drake Law community. She received the K.M. Waggoner Peer Mentor Award during her second year and the Student Service Award during her final year. She was also inducted into The Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing excellence in oral advocacy, brief writing, and advocacy-related service.

Originally from Elkader, Iowa, Maci has called Des Moines home since beginning college. Outside of the office, she enjoys playing pickleball, spending time with—and keeping up with—her nieces and nephews, and traveling.
